1. Your car must have a certificate of roadworthiness or inspection
2. Valid insurance for you cars that permit car hire.
3. Have a car track device installed
1. Once you signup, we will collect your preferred method for being paid, Mpesa, Till, Paybill, or Bank.
2. Payment is issued to you immediately upon a booking being made.

1. We allow companies on the platform to blacklist bad actors, and share this data with other companies.
2. We ensure companies on Otto are using GPS car tracking minimizing any risk of theft.
3. We allow companies using Otto to verify the Identify of customer using our KYC partner.
4. Using MPESA and Paystack we are able to secure & verify payments to ensure you get paid when the vehicle leaves your lot.
In order for a vehicle to be listed on our marketplace. Each host is required to list their car with valid car rental insurance or an equivalent insurance product that covers rental services.
Accidents happen 🙈, but this is why we only allow rental companies who have insurance that permits their cars to be rented!
Naturally, we let each rental business support their customers through the claims process.
We let you set your own cancellation policy for rentals done through your own system.
For rentals that come from the marketplace, we allow the renter to cancel the booking up to 24 hours before the booking, which you are responsible for. You can also cancel the booking up to 24hrs before as well, although this may impact the ranking of your vehicles.
Note: Payment processing + Otto transaction fees cannot be refunded for any canceled booking.
